Content policy

Baatein is for friendly conversation and learning. Everyone, callers and hosts alike, must follow these rules.

Not allowed

• Sexual content or requests of any kind.
• Anyone under 18.
• Harassment, threats, hate speech, or abuse based on caste, religion, gender, region or anything else.
• Asking for or sharing phone numbers, social handles or payments to move outside the app.
• Scams, fake identities, impersonation, or selling anything illegal.
• Sharing someone else's private information or recording people without consent.

What happens if someone breaks the rules

• Anyone can tap "Report & end" during a call. The call ends and you will not be matched again.
• A person on our team reviews every report.
• Breaking the rules earns a strike. We always show you the reason. Repeat strikes lead to a temporary suspension and then a permanent ban. Serious cases (such as anything involving minors) lead to an immediate ban and may be reported to the authorities.
• You can appeal any strike or ban, and a person will review it within 24 hours.
